Welcome to the City of Starlight… a souvenir brought back from a magical land. It was a labor of love to make this piece, and it took over a full day just to paint the glaze on it. This mug features beautiful moonstone pillars with mother of pearl luster overlayed on the outside of the mug. Real white gold luster stars span the skyline, and real gold luster adorn the crescent moon and city lights. Inside is a beautiful light purple to dark purple gradient glaze. This mug has some tiny, subtle imperfections in the moonstone pillar glaze but it just adds a bit of character and doesn’t impact functionality or durability.
To maintain the real gold luster, I recommend washing this piece by hand. However, several have reported no loss of luster over time in the dishwasher, my official recommendation is to preserve it by hand washing. ;-)
